Mackerel

Mackerel is a pelagic species, wich has no scales, and possess the elongated body, blue-green color on the back with a tiger pattern and silver color with gray spots on the belly.

The mackerel from large schools and inhabits the bottom during the day and rises to the water column at night. It is found less often more detached from the coast.

Scientific Name: Scomber colias

Capture Zone: southern region of the continent.
